So much gold in this week’s readings and videos!

I now know The Formula…and I want to do it. It won’t be easy but it will be worth it.

  1. Get up early
  2. Work hard
  3. Get your education
  4. Find your oil
  5. Make your mark
  6. Get prepared to be of service

Get up early – something I’ve wanted to do for a long time now because I know I could get a lot accomplished. With kids though it’s very hard to get out of bed in the morning if I set the alarm because I wake up multiple times at night with them. I have to remind myself that there’s a time and season for all things, and maybe my time isn’t right now to wake up early. Or I just need to work on it a day at a time.

Work hard – definitely need to work on this. I want to rest and relax more than work. Again, with kids they drain me a lot.

Get your education – I am so grateful to be back in school to finish my Bachelor’s degree. After almost 5 years of being gone I am back and more focused and determined than before. I have more dreams and something I want to accomplish.

Find your oil – I’m not sure what it is yet, but I am looking for it. I am keeping my mind open to opportunities and praying for guidance from above.

Make your mark – what will mine be?

Get prepared to be of service – Brent and I have talked about that a lot. We want to be financially at a point in our lives someday where we can wake up each morning and think ‘who can I bless today?’.

Quotes I loved from The Ministry of Business book:

“God will help you as you follow The Formula”. — If he’s helped others, why wouldn’t he help me as well? If I follow The Formula and have faith in Him and trust in Him, I will find success.

Gethsemane Preceded Calvary” — LOVE this! Suffering comes before greatness.
